NorthStar Services assists people in locating
places to live. Choice of home depends on the level of support
needed, a person’s preference, the resources available
to the individual and available options.
This could include:
• sharing a home, supports and expenses
with other people in services
• paying room and board to a provider
• sharing a home or apartment, splitting the expenses
and paying rent and utilities directly to the local vendors
• renting or buying their own home
We assist people in their homes in whatever
areas they request and require, such as:
• meals
• laundry
• shopping
• housekeeping and maintenance
• transportation for out-of-home activities
Depending upon a person’s skills and needs,
assistance can be provided for personalcare tasks, such as
dressing, eating, bathing, or toileting.
