NorthStar Services of Wayne is an agency which provides services to people with developmental disabilities in Northeast Nebraska. NorthStar Services, formerly known as Region IV Services, has been providing support services for persons with developmental disabilities in the Wayne area for over 25 years.

NorthStar Services currently provides supports to 46 individuals. The type of supports range from Day Services, Full Residential, Apartment Supervisions, and job support.

As an employee of NorthStar, your job would be to support individuals with their daily living needs, social and communication skills, developing hobbies and interests, as well as employment skills and job supports. But most of all, you will be helping the people in the services to build and maintain relationships with community members.

As an organization we strive to give back to the community of Wayne. NorthStar Services has supported the community by:
• Adopting a portion of Hwy. 35 for litter clean-up
• Supporting Relay for Life
• Including a float in the Chicken Days Parade
• Providing the local area with an aluminum can recycling drop-off
